Dr. Lucy Hallajian was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, and she’s excited to be able to serve the community that helped her become who she is today. She was drawn to dentistry because she’s passionate about interacting with patients and working with her hands to make a positive impact in their lives.
Dr. Lucy earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from UC Irvine and went on to earn her dental degree from UCSF. It was during her time in dental school that she discovered her love for working with children: from teaching healthy habits and educating them about oral health to helping them overcome their fears, Dr. Lucy knew she’d found her passion. After completing dental school, she completed a two-year residency at USC, where she learned how to best work with and serve her young patients.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Lucy enjoys hiking, cycling, baking, and cooking, although recently she’s loved getting to spend her free-time with her newborn son.
Dr. Lee attended UC Berkeley for her undergraduate education before receiving a dental degree at UCLA. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UC San Francisco and then went on to specialize in pediatric dentistry at USC. In addition to receiving awards for her research while at both UCLA and USC, she was given the American Society of Dentistry for Children Award in 1999.
In 2000, in acknowledgement of her participation and commitment to volunteer dentistry, she was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of Dentistry International (FADI). Dr. Lee opened her private practice in 2003. In addition to private practice, she also volunteered as a part-time clinic instructor at USC for several years.
Dr. Rebecca Lee was raised in the South Bay of Los Angeles. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children (Belén and Donovan) and family (which includes her 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 3 chickens!) Her passions include a spiritual Buddhist practice, reading, cooking, traveling, and surfing. She has traveled outside of the US to at least 28 countries and surfed in seven of them. The active practice of compassion and gratitude play a central role in Dr. Rebecca's life, and she has worked as a volunteer dentist in Mexico, the West Indies, Israel, Guatemala, Peru, and Cambodia (with India and Ecuador planned for 2024!)
